Associated Documents is used to record all documents associated with a note and provided the facilities to record:

The title of the document

The file path to where the document is stored on a computer or network

A file reference to where the document is stored external to Genota
-
The format of the document format. A drop down list of common document types is provided

General comments and notes related to the document
 Document ListThe list of documents linked to the note

 Add Document

 View/Edit Document
|
|
 Delete DocumentDelete the selected document from the note
|
|
 Open DocumentDisplays the selected document using the default application associated with the file format, e.g a URL will open in the default web browser
If a document cannot be displayed the following dialog will display
If this dialog displays, select the View/Edit option and check the the file path is correct
Alternative cause is that the is no default association to the file format on the computer
If unsure how to correct this please contact support@genota.com as it varies slightly with each Windows operating system
