Display Template

 
When Display Template is selected from the FORM TEMPLATE VIEW quick buttons inside the forms workspace view it allows the user to view the selected template in an expanded format. From this screen the user can also copy and edit the current template.
 
The displayed template appears as below;
 
       
 
This screen shows the user all the details of the template including the Form Elements that were selected during the template creation. From this screen, a user can copy, edit and create a new template by following the below steps:
 
Copy
This option is used to create an copy of the displayed Template as the basic form for a new Template.
 
1. Select the Copy button   from the right hand side of the Display Template screen to create a copy of the displayed Template. Note that the FORM TITLE filed is empty.
 
2. Edit the Title of the newly created form so that it is unique then edit any other information as required.  
 
3. Select the Save button from the right hand side of the Display Template screen
 
3. The new Template that was created from a copy of the original template is now in the FORM TEMPLATE VIEW section of the Genota Forms Workspace ready for use.
 
New
1. Select the New button from the right hand side of the Display Template screen
 
2. Edit the relevant fields and enter all applicable information as follows
 
Category
Select the relevant category (Event) from the drop-down menu available.
 
This is a Mandatory field
 
Form Title
The title of the form as indicated on the source document.
 
This is a Mandatory field
 
Publisher
Enter the name of the publisher or issuing authority
 
Period
Enter the time frame for the form
 
Location
Enter the location covered in the format: Town, Parish, State, Country. At a minimum enter a Country.
 
Description
A short description about the form or any relevant notes.
 
 
Once all the relevant sections have been completed, select the Next button.
 
3. Select the desired element from the AVAILABLE ELEMENTS column and click the right arrow button to move it to the FORM   ELEMENTS column. Repeat until all the element that are to be included on the form are in the FORM ELEMENTS column.
 
Should a element be incorrectly moved to the FORM ELEMENTS column, click the left arrow button to return it to theAVAILABLE ELEMENTS column.
 
Should a new element need to be created, select the NEW ELEMENT button to create a new element
 
4. Check to make sure that all the elements in the FORM ELEMENTS column are in the right order. If they are not, they can be readjusted using the Up and Down arrows.
 
5. Select the Save button from the right hand side of the Display Template screen  
 
Edit
1. Click on the Edit button on the right hand side of the Display Template screen
 
2. Edit the relevant field with the updated information. This also includes the FORM ELEMENTS
 
3. Select the Save button from the right hand side of the Display Template screen
