Add Person

 
This menu option is selected via the ADD MENU when a user needs to add an individual to Genota Forms. This can be done by following the below steps:
 
1. Select ADD PERSON from the ADD MENU and the following dialog will appear:
 
 
 
2. Fill in the the fields with as much information as is available
 
Surname
Enter in the surname of the individual
 
Other Names
Enter in the other names of the individual
 
Gender
Select the gender from the drop down menu
 
Born
This is split into 2 sections, Date and Location. Enter the date in a DD MMM YYYY format, e.g. 01 JAN 1895. For the location select a location from the drop down menu. Should the individuals location of birth not be available in the list a user can type in add the location as required.
 
Died
This is split into 2 sections, Date and Location. Enter the date in a DD MMM YYYY format, e.g. 01 JAN 1895. For the location select a location from the drop down menu. Should the individuals location of birth not be available in the list a user can type in add the location as required
 
Notes
Enter any additional notes in relation to the individual
 
3. Once all the available information is entered into the relevant fields, click the save button.
